9. Implementation: 4
I haven't written a log in two days, mainly because I was busy and so couldn't get anything done with the game. Today on the other hand, was great, though at first it might seem like the task I got done is not that productive. Trust me when I say making a system that allows for flexible rules throughout the game is not an easy task. I had to write a system that identifies the Day number and then updates the rules based on it.
I also set up a clock, one Day lasts for about three (3) minutes, which is what I'm setting it to for now, but I have also added in a functionality to change this setting/time, which would help for future needs like upgrades, or,e etc.. To make the clock visually appealing, I drew a nice rectangular digital clock asset and imported it into the game, after which I positioned it exactly as planned. I also found a nice Digital Numbers font and coded a function that updates the label's text every second, making the clock work and appear like an actual digital clock.
Truth be told, I have been avoiding the most difficult task at hand i.e the random faces but I have decided to look into it very soon..
That is all...
